Coaxial cable, also known as coaxial, is used to transmit radio frequency (RF) signals. It has low emission losses and provides protection against electromagnetic interference so that the low power consumption of the signal will be transferred over longer distances. The coaxial cable is composed of a core, insulation, shield, and housing. This is the so-called coaxial cable, because these chapters all have the same axis. There are many different types of coaxial cables, each with a specific task of designing different physical and electronic characteristics. This is commonly used to perform cable television signals along suburban streets and homes.

    Coaxial cable is used to transmit television signals and video equipment together. It can also be used to carry radio signals and connect receivers, transmitters and antennas together. Short length coaxial cables are also used to connect equipment and test equipment such as signal generators. Coaxial cables have been widely used to connect computer LANs (LANs) but have replaced twisted-pair cables. However, wired broadband is still popular and uses the same coaxial cable TV network. Most coaxial cable networks will eventually replace optical fiber networks.
